Nesta quinta-feira, a Gerência Executiva de Gestão Ambiental, realiza mais um mutirão de limpeza na praia de Upanema. A ação está sendo desenvolvida em parceria com o Projeto Cetáceos Costa Branca, Associação Rotativa, Ordem Demolay e Filhas de Jó, os dois últimos ligados à Loja Maçônica Cel. Fausto, de Areia Branca. Conforme a gerente de Gestão Ambiental, Juliana Rebouças, o mutirão de limpeza começou às 6h30 desta quinta-feira e como das vezes anteriores, o foco é o recolhimento de objetos que ficam jogados e fazer com que as pessoas tomem a iniciativa de não deixar mais a sujeira nos locais. A gerência vem trabalhando manter as práticas de educação ambiental de forma contínua. Em agosto, as ações chegarão às praias de Redonda e Ponta do Mel.m,Em setembro, acontecerá a primeira edição do Projeto de Limpeza de Praias, que culminará com o dia “D” de limpeza em todas as praias do litoral areia-branquense. Lembrando que no calendário ecológico, dia 20 de setembro é comemorado o Dia Mundial de Limpeza de Praias.
